Waste oil recycling

Van den Berg delivers the collected waste cooking oil and frying oil directly to the recycler. All oils and fats are recycled in compliance with ISCC standards. The melted oil is analysed by batch before being sent to its final destination. 

After initial processing the cooking oil is ready for further recycling into raw material for biodiesel. The conversion from oil to second-generation biodiesel takes place in the biodiesel factory. Second generation biodiesel only contains raw materials extracted from waste and can only be used for (energy)combustion.
